Top 15 Best Death Metal Album´s 2016.




This year Death Metal are most brutal performance in many bands, technical and blastbeast are present in this albums, the next Top Death Metal is a few visions about this enormous scene arround the world. Enjoy it.

1.- Obscura "Akróasis" 
One the best performance Technical, Progressive and Death Metal in the same album, the germans are in the top of musical skills and this album are the best proof. The album of the year for over many more, the band have a top album of your career.



2.- Vader "The Empire" 
The polish masters are back, with letal hybrid between Thrash Metal and Death Metal, one most intense experience sound, the perfect soundtrack for post-apocalyptic world. Brutal and adictive in the same parts.



3.- Fleshgod Apocalypse "King"
Hail and long life for King, one the most amazing sound between symphonic and death metal riffs, the album are the best mix sounds into melodic and brutal guitars. This is perfecting the marriage of death metal and classical orchestration.


4.- Master "An Epiphany Of Hate" 
One of the genre's founding figures, Czech Republic-based death/thrashers Master has literally been at the forefront of the style from the very beginning being brutal Death Metal. Excellent. 


5.- Flayst "Burning Eden"
Melodic Death Metal in the "Goteborg" vein scene, with sound of old memories scene this guys from Switzerland are performance one most brilliant debut of the year, the guitars are amazing and hypnotic. 



6.- Asphyx "Incomming Death" 
Another gruelling year of heavy metal mastery is almost over! From Overijssel, Netherlands  we have a Doom and Brutal Death Metal in the same parts, the lyrics looks like from Horror movies, the guitars and vocals are amazing.  


7.- Brutality "Sea Of Ignorance" 
Tampa, Florida's death metal stalwarts Brutality return, and they're just not back, they're back with a death metal in the vein of  'Old School', the guitars, the vocals, the sound and productions breath the brutal sound. Amazing return.  


8.- Malignancy "Malignant Future" EP
It’s a three song journey into the disgustingly brutal, spastically technical, and hyper-blasting focused realms of madness the group is known for cranking out with a near clinical consistency. Brutal Death Metal. 


9.- Meshuggah "The Violent Sleep Of Reason" 
The grandfather´s Djent are back, this swedish masters record "The Violent Sleep of Reason" is a freaking tour-de-force; a total deconstruction of heavy music. I considered reviewing this thing track-by-track but the album are to much amazing for send short vision. A really masterpiece here. 


10.- Avulsed "Death Generation" 
Spanish death metal legends AVULSED are celebrating the bands old scene with plus vocal guest like Massacre, Napalm Death, Vader, Autopsy, Incantation and more. Re-reissue song withs the most representative vocal´s old school. 


11.- Revocation "Great Is Our Sin" 
This album is no different as it sees the band putting out their most thrash-influenced record, the band has created easily one of 2016's best metal albums, Technical Death Metal arround this album, one intense experience. 


12.-Fallujah "Dreamless"  
Progressive Death Metal masterpiece. One best performance with technical and skills riffs, the guitars are awesome atmospheres for hear everyday. All album have melodics and brutal parts in the same style, sound equalization are perfect.  


13.- Grave Miasma "Endless Pilgrimage" EP
In terms of finest death metal this year granted us thus far, this EP is undoubtedly a TOP shelf release and another exemplary negation of primal aggressiveness and refined unconventionality representing mutually opposed traits. Death Metal in the classic vein.



14.- Abnormality "Mechanism Of Omniscience" 
Mallika Sundaramurthy and guys are back, with is a solid sophomore record for his career. It's a great mix of technicality and groove that you can really move to, and which. In the vein Brutal Death Metal for the masses.



15.- Insomnium "Winter´s Gate" 
The marriage of melody and blasting drum work is a tight one, packed with the melancholy only these Finns seem capable of injecting into such extremely heavy music. The finnish masters are back with melodic and conceptual album.
